Live Fire Training

Compared to ten years ago the number of fires and fire deaths have gradually declined. A key factor of this decline is due to outstanding fire prevention efforts accompanied by substantial firefighter training. In 2022 the Cleveland Fire and Emergency Medical Services serviced 72,629 major incident reports. Of these 72,629 incidents, fires made up 2.90% of the major incidents (2,103). Live-fire training, such as pictured below, are part of the reason civilian fire fatalities are down 60% compared to 2012.
